I obtained a master degree in clinical psychology in 2009 and international PhD in Developmental psychopathology in 2013 at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, with two dissertations about neuroimaging correlates of psychopathological traits in children. In 2016 I obtained a post-graduate degree in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy, specialized for children and adolescents, at Humanitas Consortium, Milan.

 

Research activity

I have been working since 2015 as research fellow and since 2020 as health researcher at the Pediatric Neuroscience Department of Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta, participating to research projects, clinical observational and interventional monocentric and multicenter trials and acting as member of national and international research networks.

My research interests are the study of neuropsychological, behavioral and adaptive outcomes of pediatric neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, in particular autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay and intellectual disabilities associated to neurogenetic disorders, acquired and congenital lesions of the central nervous systems. I have acquired deep theoretical and practical expertise in the use of psychometric standardized instruments for the diagnostic cognitive-behavioral assessment of young children with neurological and developmental disabilities.

I am author and referee for international peer-review journals.
