Born in Busto Arsizio (VA) on 04/07/1976, I graduated from the scientific high school "Blaise Pascal" in Busto Arsizio. Subsequently I enrolled in the degree course in Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. I obtained a Master's Degree in Bioengineering in 2003 and a license to practice in 2004 at the same University. From January 2005 to December 2019 I worked as a researcher collaborator (co.co.co) at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta, in the Neuroradiology Department (head: dr.ssa Maria Grazia Bruzzone). From January 2020 I continued to work as a researcher but with the professional qualification of "health researcher".

 

Research activity

During my years of work in the Institute I have principally worked on the early diagnosis, prognosis and evaluation of therapies in the main diseases of the central nervous system using advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (aMRI) techniques, such as Perfusion (PWI), Diffusion (DWI), volumetry, relaxometry, functional MRI (fMRI). I have participated in numerous conferences / courses as a speaker. I have written and personally collaborated in the drafting of many scientific articles published in the main international scientific journals. H-index (2022): 18. I participated in the drafting and presentation of Ministerial calls.
