I graduated with honors in  Neuropsychology  at University of Pavia in 2010. I won, with my experimental thesis project, a scholarship at the Neuroanesthesia Unit of the IRCCS Neurological Institute C. Besta.

In 2016 I obtained a PhD in "Experimental Psychology, Linguistics and Cognitive Neuroscience" at Milano-Bicocca University and a specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy in 2022 at the Italian Association of Behavior Analysis and Modification (AIAMC - ASIPSE school in Milan).

 

Research activity

I worked as a research neuropsychologist at Department of Neurosurgery of Besta Neurological Institute from 2010 to 2022, where I dealt with several clinical and research topics, such as: EEG monitoring and cognitive activity during general anesthesia; postoperative delirium; awake neurosurgery; stress and workload in operators; virtual reality.

Since 2023,  I have been working as researcher at Child Neuropsychiatry Unit, with a special interest in furthering phenotypic characterization, diagnostic and therapeutic process in patients with tics and Tourette syndrome.

I am also cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy trainer and I hold a faculty position in "Cognitive, Affective and Social Neuroscience" at the eCampus University of Novedrate.
