I was born in Milan on February 26, 1989. I received my high school diploma at Liceo Scientifico Alessandro Volta in Milan and in 2016 I obtained my Master’s degree in applied Physics at the University of Milan – Bicocca. In 2019 I specialized in Medical Physics at the University of Milan.

 

Research activity

Since 2016, I have been a researcher in the experimental 7 T Magnetic Resonance laboratory of the Neuroradiology Unit. Since 2020, my job title has changed to Healthcare Researcher. I am responsible for the acquisitions management, sequences optimization and periodic quality assurance on a high-field pre-clinical MRI tomograph. According to research hypotheses, MRI scans are performed on animal models, ex vivo surgical specimens or in vitro samples. My research activities range from neuro-oncology to neurodegenerative diseases, and drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy. Moreover, I collaborate in performing functional MRI examinations and DTI tractography for pre-surgical purposes. I also work with Medical Physics Service, at which I did my internship and specialization thesis.

I have authored or co-authored 14 scientific papers (July 2022) published on peer-reviewed international scientific journals. H-index (July 2022): 5. I have attended several conferences and courses both as a speaker and a learner.
