I obtained a degree in Biological Science in 2004 and ended my PhD in Molecular and Translational Medicine (DIMET) in 2008.

 

Research activity

From 2004 to 2018 I’ve worked in the Neuroimmunology Unit, under Dott.ssa Pedotti supervision. I was involved in many research activities for the comprehension of the role of allergic components of the immune system, such as basophils and histamine, in etiology and evolution of neurodegenerative disorders. Starting from 2018 I’m working at the Unit of Immunotherapy of Brain Tumors, under the supervision of Dott.ssa Pellegatta, where I’m studying the immunological characterization of glioblastoma. I’m involved also in many collaboration and collateral projects which aims to unveil immunological components in neurodegenerative disorders, where I’ve developed experience in cellular biology, animal models, molecular biology, in vitro assays and writing scientific works.
