In 2009, I obtained a master’s degree in psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca. I am enrolled in the Register of Psychologists of Lombardy (No. 03/13282). I attended an academic post-graduate II level course in Neuropsychology and cognitive rehabilitation (2016) and a non-academic post-graduate course in Mindfulness (2019). Currently, I am attending the School of Specialization in Psychotherapy “Psicoterapia cognitiva e ricerca”.

 

Research activity

I am working at the Neurology, Public Health and Disabiliy Unit of the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta since 2011. I am the coordinator of the project “Indicators of outcome, quality of life and disability in neurosurgery” collaborating with the Department of Neurosurgery. I am responsible for the patients’ psychological and cognitive evaluation, especially patients with neuro-oncological diseases, for the completion of clinical data with the individual characteristics (cognitive status, anxiety and depression symptoms, social factors etc.) and for the analysis of the variables influencing the postoperative disability and quality of life. Furthermore, I am collaborating with the Cerebrovascular Unit in order to study the cognitive and psychological profile of patients with cerebral amyloid angiopathy.
