Neuroscopy: Multimodal and multiscale imaging techniques for neuroscientists - 1° edition - REGISTRATIONE DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 31

The course offers a comprehensive introduction to high-end optical and electron microscopy, focusing on fundamental principles, sample preparation, and advanced methodologies; it shows how to analyze neuronal microenvironments and applying imaging techniques to the study of neurodegenerative events or neurobiology of tumors. The course offers a snapshot of approaches that are relevant to neuroscience, such as magnetic resonance (MRI) and multimodal imaging.

Due to space constraints for the hands-on sessions, the number of participants is limited to 16. Applicants should send a motivation letter (max 500 words) explaining their background, with particular attention to microscopy skills, projects they are working on and expectations from the course. All information should be sent to Vision@istituto-besta.it by 31^st July 2026, with “Neuroscopy-1st edition” as object. Selected participants will receive an email with all the necessary information by 24^th July 2026.
